Fun Chat Safe's policies may change any time without warning, you, the user, agree to abide these policy's and accept that you will not be notified when they change, so it is your own responsibility to review and check this page. You agree that if you sign up for the mailing list, to receive the monthly newsletter, you will get a notice about these changes upto 14 days before the change, to remind you to check out the new policies.
THE FULL TERMS:
By registering with fun chat safe chatrooms, you, the user, accept and agree to these terms and conditions, set here for a safe and fun site. Our goal of this site is to provide fun high quality chatrooms, and so these terms are in place to prevent any disruption and to maintain a fun yet safe chatting website. When using this website you agree to the chatroom rules and these terms, you agree that misconduct can result in a ban from the chatroom or an IP ban from the WHOLE SITE. (If you use a shared IP or proxy, then that means you ruin it for everyone using that IP or proxy)
The chatrooms are moderated strictly, if anyone is found breaking the rules, they will be kicked out of the chat. If they return and continue they WILL be banned, which we don't like to do. If however you are bullied in the chat or suspect someone who isn't as they seem, while no moderators are online, tell us the date and time, the username of the person you suspect, and we also need the room they chatted in. If you can not recall when or what room, please try and tell us some of the words he said, and we'll search for it in our logs.

- 1. No spamming
spamming includes the following terms:
- 1a: Advertising:
Do not advertise or promote other website's, products, books, service etc. To advertise such things, please use our advertising blocks
- 1b: Recruitment:
Do not ask our users to join other sites such as forums or groups, requesting to participate in surveys, contests, protest, money making schemes.
(again please use our advertising service if you wish to promote such things)
- 1c: Room Flooding:
DO NOT flood any of the chatrooms. Flooding is basically filling up the screen with random text or smiley's, that distracts the other users in the chatroom.
- 2. Chat content
Chat content is important to ensure safe happy chatting
- 2a: Offensive material:
Do not write comments containing crude sexual references, innuendo or that refer to or imply violence either in general or towards other chat users. Do not post links to material containing pornography, gore, excessive violence, sexually explicit content, images of death or other overly graphic material. Remember that we have visitors of all ages, comments should be as 'family friendly' as possible.
- 2b: Illegal material:
References to taking, buying, growing or selling drugs, the promotion or use of weapons, plans to or descriptions of participation in hacking, downloading pirated material or other criminal acts are strictly disallowed.
- 2c: Private content:
Do not copy and paste the content of private messages, e-mails or the personal contact details of other members. This also applies to the contact details, e-mails etc. of non-members and to other offline correspondences. The content of private correspondences sent by site visitors or members of staff via private messenger or through e-mail are copyrighted to the sender and should not be reproduced, published or distributed outside of this web site through any means without prior written permission from the copyright holder.
- 2d: Language:
As this is an English speaking site we ask that our members write only in English. Mobile phone shorthand and "leetspeak" are allowed but only if everyone in the room at that time can understand what your saying. Fictional and other languages are forbidden, as some people may feel tormented as they cant join in.
(If you speak another language and someone else understands you, you can use the private 1to1 chat in that language)
- 2e: Preaching:
Do not promote or push your beliefs on to others, we have visitors from all over the world of many different faiths and we ask that all beliefs be respected. Similarly, do not use the room to push an agenda or to 'educate' others on your own views or ideas, we ask that users be allowed to make up their own minds on what to or not to believe. However we do allow paid advertisements to website's as long as the site is in english.
- 3. Behaviour
please follow these behaviour rules:
- 3a: Racism or hatred:
Do not write racist or hate-driven comments or views which express hatred towards or discriminate against any specific race, religion, country, gender, individual or group.
- 3b: Harassment:
Do not harass, defame, threaten, bully or victimise other members.
- 3c: Profanity:
Do not use profanity, crude, vulgar language or attempt to intentionally bypass the profanity filter
- 3d: Abusive behaviour:
Do not be rude, insulting, offensive, snide, obnoxious or abusive towards other members. Do not make deliberately inflammatory comments or 'bait' other members in to making reciprocal attacks.
- 3e: Suggestive behaviour:
Do not write sexually suggestive comments except in the adult talk which is the only appropriate room. Do not innuendo or engage in inappropriate sexually oriented personal exchanges or harassment; purely personal correspondences should always be kept private. Engaging in competitive, possessive, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour in that regard is disallowed.
- 3f: Chat room groups/gangs:
The formation or promotion of organised groups, clans or gangs is disallowed, as are organised attempts to harass other members, disrupt discussions or enforce a certain viewpoint in any way that prevents fair and unbiased discussion.
- 3g:Role-playing:
Do not use the chat room to 'role-play' as a fictitious character or supernatural entity. UNLESS you are in the WoW (world of warcraft) fans room, where you can pretend to be your character out of the WoW game.
-4. Relevance
- 4a: Use the correct room:
Please use the appropriate room depending on what you want to talk about e.g. if you are looking to chat about non-paranormal related topics please use the off-topic room and not the topical room. If you use the incorrect room a chat moderator may ask you to move to a room to which that subject is better suited.
- 4b: Shouting:
Do not write in all uppercase letters, writing in this manner is considered "shouting" and makes what you are saying difficult to read as well as looking unsightly and being annoying to other users.
- 5. Moderator actions
Moderators can deny access to or take some action necessary agianst anyone whose behaviour is inappropriate or if the user is in breach of any rules. By using this chat, you agree to the following.
- 5a: Compliance:
You agree to co-operate with the requests of our site staff should you be asked to stop doing something that they deem to be disruptive, inappropriate or in violation of the terms of service.
- 5b: Protest:
You agree not to attack, harrass, threaten or become abusive towards any member of staff. Members who become offensive or participate in harassing, threatening or retaliatory action against the site or a member of staff will be subject to further action. All our moderators are volunteers who give up their own free time to keep the site a safe and friendly place, please treat them with the respect that they deserve.
- 5c: Appeal:
If you disagree with action taken against your account by a moderator, you can appeal the decision by contacting us through the contact page, stating the problem. Please do not use chat room to criticise or complain about any moderator actions, to discuss member bans or to start a petition or protest against any action that has been taken.
- 5d: Access:
If your access or posting rights have been revoked, do not register more accounts in order to circumvent this restriction or have another member post or deliver messages on your behalf. Accounts that we find belong to previously banned members will also be banned. We unban most accounts within 14 days (if its a 1st ban, 2nd ban will be 1 month, and any bans after 6 months)
FUN CHAT SAFE reserve the right to change the policys at any time without warning unless
